Dear Parents,
I wish to thank all of you who entered our exhibition, I hope you enjoyed seeing the art displayed in such a great venue. I received lots of comments from the public who were very impressed with the standard of the art; the students deserve to be very proud of their efforts. Art work will be returned this week, unless it sold, then a cheque will be issued to those students.
The final class for the year at EAC is on Wednesday 14TH December. Some students that are privately tutored will finish the week before to coincide with their school term.
Next year Katherine Trayes and I will both offer private tutoring and Katherine will continue to assist me with the class on Wednesdays, the theme will be lots of fun based around the seaside.
It’s best to let us know by the end of this term if you are returning next year, as we have a few on our wait list. Lessons start back from 7th Feb, we will continue tutoring on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays , and will endeavour to give parents their preferred times.
The Estuary ARTS Centre are planning to extend their education programme and currently have some adult classes on offer, so if your keen to try something in the arts call Jennifer Kipfer at the gallery on 42 65570 for information on any classes planned for next year.
The gallery also have a great ‘cash n carry’ show with a huge variety of art available during December and January, and our Red Door Studios also have paintings, cards and prints for sale too, so if you’re looking for something unique for Xmas please visit, we are open Mon-Fri 10 -5pm.
